Description
Because sodium and chloride are both used very slowly and not in any huge amounts by aquatic plants, they can be more harmful than beneficial when continually added to a planted aquarium. Some mineral buffers contain sodium and chloride because they can be used easily by some fish.
Equilibrium contains calcium, magnesium and potassium, meaning they can raise GH, aid in fish metabolism and be beneficial to plant growth.
Dose
16g (1 tablespoon) will raise GH by 1 meq/l (3 dH) for 80 litres
